Can someone post their impressions and benchmarks on Bad Company 2, preferably in 32-man servers and what settings and performance you get on a DV6t Quad Edition? I can't seem to find any real good info on this. Thanks.

    I get about 30fps on 1366x768 with DX11/hbao/AA x4 and AF x8.

Thanks. So with Dx9, hbao off, it should run with much higher fps then? Doesn't it ever pause or stutter or have slowdowns like with lots of smoke and explosions?

I'm sure using MLAA instead of 4xAA would enable higher settings.

    how do I do this?
I wouldn't run it in DX9 mode as this turns off many options. I'd recommend turning off hbao, bloom, and AA, and you should get very good performance. I need to play around more with the settings, but I haven't had time lately to play.

I've played on DirectX 9 and it looks and plays fine to me. Gets me playable on my M11x even, albeit with massive slowdowns in heavy firefights and explosions.

Demos are few and far between these days. Check Steam for demos or Gamespot.com or IGN.com. But there is no demo for Bad Company 2.

I ran it comfortably at 1080p at medium settings. It's not perfect, but certainly playable. This was on a dual core, so the quad should fare a little better (BFBC2 uses the extra cores nicely).

Catalyst control panel should have that.
