    Hello

I've gotten my hands on a cheap, used Compaq Presario F500. It works great for the most part, except for the left speaker not producing the wanted amount of sound. It doesn't play nearly as loud as the right speaker, and adjusting the balance towards the left doesn't make it sound right either. Is it anything I can do to solve this problem? My first thought was that the speaker was loose or covered with dust, so could it help blowing some compressed air into it, or are there any other solutions for fixing it? I think I can manage to open the cover for the speakers and I found the service manual for it on the web. But does anyone have a real suggestion for what could be wrong and what to do to remedy this?
