    so if i change envy 17 3d 6gb to 8 gb once i got it, will the system know that and change the property in like this computer's spec to 8 gb?(i remember theres a place to see ur computer's spec somewhere)

    Yes, the system will recognize the additional memory, as long as it is installed correctly.
