    Battery Problem!! Plz Help!!

    For the last few days i am facing a problem with my New HP Compaq nx7300's battery...the battery is detected but its not charging...i dont know what kind of problem is that...in the power option i see that the windows is saying "plugged in...not charging"....plz help me out...thnx!!

    I kinda remember some posts about a firmware update fixing charging problems... not sure if this is related. Do you have the latest firmware?

    you can try a hard reset by removing battery and ac and then holding power button down for about 30 seconds. This clears any like trapped power in like the capacitors and such. I have heard it work before.

    think your S.O.L you need a new battery. if you just got it you should be able to get a free battery replacement...
