Last week I got myself a new HP laptop (dv6645us), and was able to get XP Pro up and running pretty much 100% ( details here).
One of my remaining issues is that when running on the battery, the windoze, and HP battery meter do not give me the TIME remaining (hours, minutes, etc), both of those will only give me a % remaining. My old dell laptop would give me both a % and time left. Is this even possible on the HP's?
This is the HP battery meter I have installed: sp32299.exe

The meter that's built into the HP batteries only show percent remaining. I'm pretty sure you can find a program online that can show you time remaining if you Google it.

Yes, i've used a dv6500t recently and it told me how much time was left. But, you do realize that you can kinda figure it out and that the time remaning isnt really all that accurate.
Hope i could Help -
