I have nx7400 notebook & 2 batteries. Original PB992A and replacement that looks like this: [IMG].
Now I want to buy HP 6715b or HP 6510b. Will my old batteries fit to this new models? I want to use them as reserve.
    Thanks in advance for answers.

OK, thanks. I have done some searching, and I know that PB992A is different than PB994A. But on polish HP site you can find:

    That's why I was confused.

PB99 4A is a 6-cell battery, and the HP nx7400 had options for both 6 and 8-cell batteries, so that's probably fine.

PB99 2A is a 8-cell battery, the HP 6715b or HP 6510b only come with 6-cell primary batteries (excl. the 8-cell travel one which is different), so the answer is still no.
