    Battery drain

    After restoring to factory settings I have noticed a heavy battery drain with normal usage (surf the internet, for example) Now it lasts only 2 hours, it must last 4 hours, i think.

    Besides the fan is working more than before the restore (it works even on iddle). Finally I think 53ยบ cpu temperature on idle is too high for an I3. So, now it has an overheat problem too.

    There must be something running or making these problems..

    On what power plan are you on? Maybe from default is on High Performance, is your brightness set high like before? Try using a can of air to get rid of any dust build up that might have occur over time. If the temps keep high and you have insurance call HP and send it in.
