    Battery latch busted (DV2000, applicable to DV6000, dv9000)

    The springiness went first. Now the switch has disconnected from the mechanism and slides freely in its slot in my DV2000T.

    Is this a well known problem, hopefully fixed with a simple trick(or kluge)? Because the manual suggests going in through the top - disassembling virtually the entire machine - will be necessary to service this flimsy switch on bottom.
