I just tested out battery life while running my Athlon 64 3200+ at 1GHz @ 0.85V. I was able to watch the ENTIRE Stargate SG-1 Season 3, Volume 4 DVD (176 minutes of video) while on battery, including a few breaks. Total battery time was just over 3 hours, closer to 3:10. I used ClockGen to set the CPU speed and voltage. I have the 12-cell battery of course. The current CG stepping Athlon 64's, which use 1GHz @ 0.95V as their slowest PowerNOW! mode, should do almost as well without resorting to ClockGen. I have the older C0 stepping.

    Who needs a steenkin' Pentium-M [ :p] [ :D].

Could you confirm that you used the version for the zv5000z was the CG-NVNF3?

All mainboards based on one of these chipsets :
    nVidia nForce3-150
    Vidia nForce3-250

    Thanks
