    Hello, everybody!

I'm the proud purchaser of a new HP dv6t Quad Edition. I just have a couple of questions about it while it makes its trek overseas.

The first one is about battery life. I purchased a 6 & 9 cell battery with the laptop; what sort of life have you all been getting with the integrated graphics and with the discrete graphics?

The second question is a little more involved. I'd like to back up the recovery partition to some DVDs (Blu-Ray, maybe?) so I don't have all those messy, extra partitions on my hard drive. So... If I want to install Win7 fresh, what can I do? Or should I just delete all the unnecessary bloatware? If I do a fresh install, can I selectively restore applications from my recovery discs (Photoshop, Norton)?

What do you do regarding your recovery partition?

    Thanks in advance!

Minimized System Image from the recovery menu. Take a look at the "Removing Bloatware, Reinstall Win7?" thread in this forum.
