AMD ZM-80 with integrated graphics on 1650x1000 screen
vs.
Intel P8400 with integrated graphics on same screen
both running standard apps (lets say word, firefox, and a few other marginal things)
which wins? by how much?
i ask because a lot of the reviews i see have the 5t including dedicated graphics instead of the integrated solution, so all things being equal how do these match up?
thanks in advance

The DV5T will obtain longer battery life. It would be about 15-30 minutes longer battery life. Altogether the DV5T will get about 3.5 hours.
The ATI graphics card in the DV5Z is much better than the integrated graphics card in the DV5T. However, if you're looking for graphical performance go with the DV5T and 9600m GT. -
ill be doing no gaming in any way shape or form outside of solitaire. my concerns for battery life are primarily for note taking or other school uses when im on the go.
the only video intensive work ill be doing is movies, but i doubt ill do that not plugged in if ever.
right now one review im reading has the integrated with normal battery at 2:22, chaz's 5t review claims over 3 hours if using integrated with the hi-cap battery
hmm... -
My girlfriend has dv5t with high capacity battery, integrated graphics. Gets close to 3.5-4 hours battery life. Internet, Word, etc etc.

which cpu? p8400?

Nah, the one below the P8400. Still, even with the P8400 your looking at around the same time frame.
