    Ok, i'm ordering a hp dv5 tomorrow but am a little worried by battery life, however the spec and price im getting far outweighs this. I'm just wondering if its possible to get a battery with more cells for the dv5 range?

    Yes, HP offers a 12 cell battery for both their dv4 and dv5.

    where can i buy it direct in the uk as i cant find an official part, however have found some non-hp branded batteries just now on the web.
