im looking for a good and reletively cheap note book cooler for my 6000 series. Ive noticed the HDDs run hot in these things and i play a lot of games, so id like to cool it and the gpu/cpu is possible also.
Considering the location of HDD on the actual unit has anyone found a suitable notebook cooler? Ive only seen coolers with fans placed in the middle of the cooler.
Are these new fansless heatpipe types any good?
Thank you

The Antec Dual Fan Laptop cooler is a great deal and offers good cooling for any 14 or 15 inch laptop. I am using it with my dv9500t series laptop with a lot of improvement in the cooling department. The laptop spills over the laptop cooler though.

There are 3 hotspots on the dv laptops. The HDD, RAM and near the fan exhaust. All the heat created is mostly on the left side of the laptop.
Have a look here and try to match up the hotspots with the fan placement

Try the zalman nc1000 or nc2000 for the bigger laptops

Hopefully you can switch the fans so it blows instead of sucking hot air
