I have this integrated Nvidia GeForce Go 7150M GPU and I was wondering if I should try using a different driver than what HP provided? If so, which one? Will I see a significant performance increase using anything else?

    Thanks in advance.

    Have you tried www.laptopvideo2go.com drivers?

Not a significant but definately noticable performance with my old geforce go 7200

Yeah - I've heard of that site, but I wasn't sure if there was a specific one to use. Is there someone who has done this with my specific GPU? If not, then do you have an idea of which specifically to use? Then, could you give me a step by step idea of how to go about using laptopvideo2go? That is, even the quickstart guide they provide on the site doesn't really say much about how exactly to go about selecting the driver and implementing it into your system. Thanks.

Yeah it can be confusing at the start, i was too.

Try giving the latest driver a go first (169.09 linked below). Its proven to be stable for most cards and most downloaded driver for Vista32. But like said above some might give you a great boost and some might give you a errors or glitches. Most of them should work fine though.

    http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=16152

    1) Click on the Driver Link to download the drivers

    2) Unzip the download drivers to any folder

    3) Click on Modded INF and save it into the folder where you unzipped the drivers in step 1

    4) It will ask you if you wanna overwrite the old .inf file. Click Yes

    5) Run the .exe file or through the device manager if you like. Setup takes a couple of minutes. IF it happens to give you a compatibility warning click on YES anyway

    6) Now Restart your laptop and run games, benchmarks and different programs to ensure theres no glitches or errors. Run the WEI tool if you like and see if theres any increase on the graphics score. If everything is stable then you have the latest performance drivers.

If it doesnt then youll have to try the 150.+ range drivers. My Go 7200 ran well on 156.xx driver. I had to go through 3 drivers to get the perfect one.

I managed to run CSS on high settings and WOW on default settings with awesome quality and no lag using a low end 32mb geforce 7200.
