I have almost made up my mind about buying the dv2000t. Circuit city sells it at 999 US$ with free shipping (<a href ="http://www.circuitcity.com/rpsm/oid/153965/originURLEncoded/http%253A%252F%252Fwww.circuitcity.com%252Fssm%252FNotebook-Computers%252Fsem%252Frpsm%252FcatOid%252F-12963%252FN%252F20012961%2B20012963%2B2766%2B40001085%252Flink%252Fref%252Frpem%252Fccd%252Fcategorylist.do/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do#tabs">dv2035us[/URL]) whereas customizing it on the hp site with a similar configuration costs around 1100$.

Could someone suggest what would be the best place to buy the dv200t? I am not a student, and will be buying this online/from a store in the US.

How would you all rate this model (esp wrt to battery life..how much can I expect?)

    Thanks for your time.

    Two options; HP.com or Costco.com.

HP.com; you can build to order and also get discounts in terms of Student and if you employer has discounts too.

Costco.com; They have the same build to order system, but there 50.00USD cheaper than HP.com sometimes and also they have a SIX month return policy.
