    Bettery Charge Thresholds on HP?

    Is it possible to set charge thresholds on HP laptops? For example set charge to kick in at 40% capacity and to stop charging at 80%. Specifically I want to do this on an 8710w.

    Sorry if this has already been covered. I did a search and every thread I saw was for Thinkpads.
