    hi guys i am new here
    i have question i hope some one can provide me answer :]

    ok i have laptop hp dv6790 ej (geforce 8400 m gs 256 ram)
    and i can not find working video card driver for windows xp sp 3

    i dont know where else to search , for the drivers..

    if some one can help me , it will be nice:> :eek:

    i am downloading atm
    dv6775us drivers taht posted
    also working on 6XXX
    i hope it will help me

    but i looked on every forum and could not find the answer for my video card
    on xp sp3

    Do you mean none of the XP 32-bit drivers from LV2Go worked?

    yes non!@ no one worked for me

    it always display error message:

    nvidia setup error:
    the nvidia setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware . setup will now exit.

    always when i go to my display proprties ->adapter proprties
    resorces :

    it tell me

    i/0 range and memor range conflicts

    input out put range 03b0-03bb used by
    pci standard pci to pci brigde
    and memory range and input/output range

    it is by defult show when i installed clean windows xp sp3 copy..

    i did not found inside modded inf.. things that are right for my laptop
    it asking things about dell etc..
    i dont have dell ;]

    Which driver version were you trying to install from LV2Go?

    everything that for xp support GS 8400


    but as far as i know the mother boards made by Hp.. and the nvidia chipset is on board with dect memory and shared.. s
    so i dont thing nvidia drivers will help ;x
    or am i worng?

    cuz i have no idea exactly my chipset number
    i know i have dv6790ej -> u can see this model in hp site
    and read about it
    cuz i can not make modded inf . cuz i dont know where get my currect chipset file from ;xxxxxxxthere is alot gefroce 8400M gs drivers; /

    Wait, are you looking for the nForce system board chipset drivers, or video drivers (or both)?

    If it works, I would not immediately upgrade to newer ones. Sometimes the newer releases can be more buggy instead of better.

    R400 is probably getting to the problem correctly. Download the package. Unzip it and copy paste the modded INF into it that has been downloaded. I am pretty sure it should work.

    from site dv6557us
    280mb or i could also just install all drivers from hp site for xp
    but i dont know where get all drivers supported for xp
    finger print card reader etc?
