I am sure some of you remember the topic I created talking about how Bing did not cancel my cashback on a order I returned to HP. Well after reading through Bing's ToS I decided to contact them and let them know about it because, according to them, Bing could cancel any and all of my cashback for any reason and I have another $500 on the way. This is the email I received today,
$215 is nothing to sneeze at.![]()

Can you actually collect it yet?

So basically Bing gave you $215 for free? Wow o__o
-
But you can't return HP stuff after 21 days though right?

wow so maybe that means i get to keep the $230 in cashback that i earned from a canceled order? i still got 30 days to go till it clears though...

TBH you may see this with the last batch of BCB's considering the program is terminating and I'm sure they've already "reallocated" staff for other things, and most stuff will just slide under the table. So all those people stacking that really shouldn't will probably get to keep their extra savings.

But its still a gamble. Obviously I'd rather have a guaranteed $500 than lose that $500 and get the $100-$200 in other savings.
I sure hope for the sake of others that missed the small window of opportunity that it comes back one last time, but seeing how lots of advertised sponsors have dropped the "Bing Cashback" coin logo, including HP, I doubt it. -
HP has had flat cashback off coupons before. I don't see a reason why they won't do so in the future. There was a $300 off $1499 as well as a $450 off just this y ear. The various bing deals have fallen in between those.
I had an order on an Envy 15 with the $450 off a few months back that I cancelled due to delays. This came out soon after the refresh on the 15's.
Bing/HP is awesome
