    Bios Update VS admin Priveleges??

    i want to upgrade my Bios To F.16,he tells me i need administrator previleges,need to be logged on as administrator,although i am the administrator,it is the only account on the Laptop,i have upgraded Bios before to F.06 it was normal i dunno why it refuses and tells this administrator thing this time, i tried creating other administrator accounts and tried the safe mode with admin logging thing with other admin account still same thing asks for administrator previleges so to update,so what can i do.

    Are you using Vista? If so then you may have to right click on the file and actually say "Run as Administrator" for it to work. I had to do that with my recent BIOS upgrade for my Vista laptop. Hope this helps.
