Hey guys,
What type of deals are you guys looking for this holiday season?
I'm waiting to buy the Envy 17 3D and I'm hoping for at least a $400 coupon. I regret not buying it when I had the chance to earlier this month.
If I can't get a deal on that anytime soon and with the shipping delays in mind, I might as well wait to see what Sandybridge comes out with at CES 2011.
-
I want the Envy.... i am hoping to get it for around $750 atleat......with i-5 proccesser and 6 or 8GB Ram
-
got a $150 off coupon in the mail today. but already had my 15 percent off coupon too, doubt i can use both. thought about getting my wife an envy 14.
-
Ya I'm waiting for a hopefully good deal on Friday/Monday to buy an ENVY 14. I feel like they should at least match what was provided earlier in the month ($400 off).
-
Yeah they matched it 50 dollars off.
-
To get additional money off, after you order online, call to cancel order. They will offer you money not to cancel the order. I did this and got an additional $80 off even after the $400 coupon. $874 shipped.
i5-580M, recovery DVD (for when I sell it), 4GB ram, 640GB hdd -
I would just wait for sandy bridge. It looks as though HP will be quick to adopt it. Just one more month till they're revealed, worth waiting IMO.
Intel's Sandy Bridge CPUs start to seep out, 2GHz quad-core i7-2630QM coming to HP dv7 -- Engadget -
I was looking for an article like that to give me hints regarding HP's intentions with Sandy Bridge.
But can Sandy Bridge handle the 3D requirements of the Envy 17? -
-
The $400 coupon expired

HP is offering below coupon for cyber monday
$300 off Customized HP ENVY 14 Laptop $1299+ Coupon Code: NBJ549154 (Exp 11/30 or 700 uses, excludes HP ENVY 14 Beats) -
Wow. I wish I had $1,000 to spare. I was thinking of using an Envy 14 as my more portable laptop, as another poster has, but I still think I had better stick to something 12" or so.
-
Now to decide if it's worth buying the ENVY 14 with a 720p screen

Coupon still works for me. Was wondering if the quad core will reduce battery life though over the dual core. Beautiful laptop though.

Hoping for some nice offers on the 17 3D this monday, might buy it instead of waiting if I can get a really good deal.
So far this seems to be the current offers for Cyber Monday though, a bit disappointing:

I was ready to pull the trigger on an Envy 17 3D but can't find a sale/deal at all. Call me what you will, but I hate to pay full retail on anything...
-
Damn could of ended up getting a "free" slice with this deal..
My beats was about $1170, sold the headphones for $170, got a slice for $180, so $1180 total. -
any deals on slice battery?
