So weird...my computer runs well...sometimes when I restart or shutdown I get the blue screen saying the error and it shuts off. For the first time immediately after the blue screen error message ist restarted saying Non-system disk read error stuff, you know the deal. I powered off and powered back on and it started fine...Does this sound like a hardware or driver issue...? I'm guessing a driver or software somewhere is causing this. Any way to diagnose it?

Looks like some third party CD burning utility is causing the problem or if you are using some CD/DVD emulation softwares make sure you have it patched up well....there can be many reasons for this error...google your error that might help ( sorry sounds lame)...or post your BSD error log..
