    I got the error report... Can anyone decipher it?

    It's a custom DV6 I ordered over the phone around winter of 2009.

    - Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo Processor P7550 (2.26GHz, 3 MB L2 Cache, 1066MHz FSB)
    - 250GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive with HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection
    - 512MB ATI Radeon(TM) HD 4530 Graphics
    - 4GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm)

    Quick google search for "BCCode: a" points to possible driver issue.

    If your computer doesn't boot anymore, try tapping F8 at boot and select Last known good configuration from the menu.

    You could try System Restore back to time when everything worked. If you remember that you installed or updated something before problems started, reverse those changes.
