Guys I've got the dv6t with nvidia graphics card and ever since i've gotten it the screen seems to lean more toward the blue spectrum. It's enough that when I put my pictures on the screen to edit i have to use a seperate monitor because the pictures look like they had way way to much blue in them when taken. Anyone know how can fix the colors. Is there a free program to calibrate to screen so the colors show true?

    Thanks in advance

It's probably due to the temperature of the backlight lamp. They use high white point lamps to make the screens look brighter.

You can try adjusting gamma to a reference value using the Catalyst Control Center if you have an ATi chip, or use PowerStrip otherwise. Here's some good adjustment patterns: http://www.photoscientia.co.uk/Gamma.htm
