I've pretty much made up my mind to get a zx5000.
I notice that HP ships with PC2700 ram. With faster
processors zx5000 is supposed to have the 800mhz FSB.
Doesn't that imply it should be able to benefit
    from 400mhz PC3200 DDR ram?

I notice that HP has whacko prices on their RAM.
I was figuring on buying more elsewhere when I
need it, just wasn't sure if there was a
    performance-boosting opportunity there.

Never mind, found out the answer to my RAM speed question in the poll about fav HP boxes. The Intel chipset used in the zx5000 doesn't support 400mhz RAM. Not a deal breaker. :)
