I am trying to install Windows 8 and dont have any dvds at the moment, so I am using Microsoft Store Online to make my USB drive bootable

But nomatter what I do with the boot priority it always just starts the current Windows 7 install?

    It has the newest bios

Although I have a different system (Envy Touchsmart Ultrabook), I have found that even though the boot priority has the usb devices set ahead of the hard drive I still have to hit F9 on bootup to get the menu that lists the boot devices. And from there I have to choose the usb device to boot from.
