    Bought a V3000z from Costco ...

    And guess what !!!! I got the QDS screen! I am so excited! got the best screen on the first try!!! woohooo. This screen is simply amazing. I can't say enough good things about it. I think the LG (LPL) screen is very close in terms of quality but QDS simply rocks.

    How many of you guys who got the v3000 got lucky and got the QDS screen?

    I have a glossy QDS in my Turion based system and the Sempron based one has the matte LPL screen. Both are very good. I also had a SEC & AUO screens in previous dv2000t/V3000z which I had to return due to issues other than the screen.

    Mine is SEC glossy screen :(. Screen is a bit of dark. But I can take it. In fact, I always use 40% of brightness. Not so much differences whatsoever.

    Thanks guys, I have been busy updating all the drivers, QP etc... lots of fun. I think now I am at the point where I have everything I need on it. Next step is to install Gentoo from stage 1. Wooohooo !!!!!
