This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Bought new DM4t, fingerprint reader wont work

    in google chrome, the fingerprint reader will not work. i was wondering if it works in anything besides internet explorer. i can't use internet explorer(waiting while it loads a tab-really?)

    thanks for the help, laptop is amazing.

    edit: also, of the other browsers that it works in, which one is as easy and simple to use as chrome? thank you

    I use it in Firefox for absolutely everything.

    Just use Firefox. It is slightly slower than chrome but much faster than IE + it has the best and most add-ons.
