If most of the laptops are made by a handfull of companies in China and Taiwan, what is the difference between them apart from the cases and after sales service ?
Are there any American manufactured laptops ? I would like to buy it [ :D]

I wish there were latops made in Japan. "Made in the USA" is marginally better than "Made in China" in most things I have seen.
