ok so i have a compaq presario v4000 series. i got it in 2005. well for a couple of months its sounds like the fan is broken. like when the fan turns on to keep from overheating, its like a clinking sound. and it gets very hot. so i ha reason to believe that the fan is broken and i want to open it up and fix it but i dont know how. what should i do? thanks

it might be a cord which keeps getting hit by the fans. Should be pretty straight forward to open, but im not sure, try googling it.
