I was wondering that how long does HP takes to build dv2000t(CTO) because ever since I ordered this laptop I can't wait to get this baby... :) . I have checked every where on HP website and they usually take 12 business days which is quite a bit long i think. Well I ordered mine on Nov.8th and it is still under production as of now. So I am kind a worried that I hope they don't send it around Thanksgiving weekend because then i have to wait for whole another week. So anybody ever had delayed shipment or situation like mine?

I also wonder that it might be a processor because I ordered a laptop with Core 2 Duo. So anybody think that processor might be the cause of the delay?

    Which processor did you order?

If it was the T7200, expect a delay.

If it wasn't, then it should be shipping soon.

Ah, then it should definitely be shipping soon.

The only Core 2 Duo processor that's slowing HP orders is the T7200.

Because it's the fastest HP offers on the consumer notebook line.

It's caused delays in the past.
