    Anyone know approximately how long a custom built laptop stays in this stage?

    What comes after this stage? :D

    I think I'm going insane from pressing refresh 2,000 times today. x.X

    i think it took my 6500t about a week, or just a little longer. what was awesome was the shipping, which took TWO days from china. and soon this will be relevant to you.

    yeah the worst part about ordering a notebook is the build time and shipping time. that will drive you crazy. "is it here yet?"

    Well with the T61s ppl were makin their orders and finding out they had to wait 2-3 months for their laptops. So to those ppl I would suggest they go outside and run in front of a bus. That way when they come to, it will have either arrived or they will have to mend every bone in their body in an effort to use their new brick :D

    Ha, mine also took a about a week to build and shipped from china in TWO days but I wasn't home so hopefully they try again on Saturday. :-D

    I ordered mine on the 8th, on the evening, so I think that counts as July 9th, although the website lists the 8th.

    This wait time is killing me. D:

    This thing is STILL in production. Gib me a tracking number already, HP. :(

    I would call FedEx and find the local facility, you should be able to pick it up tonight after 5:00 or 6:00. That is what I did.

    Mine was ordered on 7th in the evening (dv2500t). Its still in production :(. But patience is a virtue. I keep telling myself that.

    It takes 5 business days to build plus 4 days shipping( 1 of those days include crossing the international dateline). That's if you dont have any delays in the building process.
