    Hello:

I was wondering if those that have placed orders on the HP site was lucky enough to receive your order before the actual build date?

    Thanks

Got an L2000 not too long ago, delivery was nearly two weeks ahead of schedule, it was very fast. I've heard many similar stories.

    My experience:

From order date to actual shipping: 1 week
    Shipping to delivery: 2-4 days.

It's quicker than the official built/ship date.

Thanks for the replies. I ordered my L2000 on the 1st with a build date of the 13th. I know I may encounter some delay due to the holiday but I am just excited about my new notebook.

HP is very conservative in their estimated ship dates in case something like a delay happens.

Kick back and wait! I did the same thing through OfficeDepot/TechDepot, it took almost 2.5 weeks. The notebook is comming from HK (china), so that takes a little time.

I ordered mine from OD on the 2nd of the month. It came today, so there was a delay(but hey I got my $45 shipping refunded by the manager). It left China on Friday and got here today which I think its a little wierd(2business days). It took mine 24 days, 15 business days.
