    Hey Everyone!

Let me start by saying, I'm very new to laptops and computers in general. So, please excuse me if I sound retarded in this post. Here's my predicament: I'm trying to start a vinyl sign and graphics business and will want to run a bunch of different graphic design software from my laptop. The vinyl cutter that I am purchasing will be hooked up to my laptop so I can design on the laptop and have the design transfered to the vinyl cutter to be cut. I need a laptop that will be able to handle this type of business and be good for stuff like my flight sim and surfing the web. I'm really interested in the Dell e1705 and the HP DV 9000T series of computers. I have a budget of $1700.00 maybe a little bit more. I really would like a 17" screen too! Can someone help me out with this? I've been searching threads and the internet for nearly a week now and I'm driving myself CRAZY with all the choices to be made! I would sure appreciate all your help. Thanks very much and Aloha!

if you really need the 17" screen then get the dv9000 with 2gb ram and a t7200 (core 2 due @ 2.0 ghz) and a 200gb 7200 drive. Do a custom config since most stores don't carry this configuration. If you want more portability but power go with dv6000 with same specs. And you want the nvidia 256mb card.
