Hey everyone. Im thinkin about getting that HP 110 XP netbook.

With windows 7 comming out soon would it be smart to wait for new models to come out? Or just stick with the current ones. Kind of a dumb question, but im just tryin to see if anyone knows about new models comming out or whatnot.

I bought a dell xps a few years ago, and a month after my purchase a new model came out and i was pretty mad ;)

if its not urgent, wait for the new ones. some new model numbers already leaked on a hp page, but theres no information about them yet. i'd wait for the new ones, since theyre probably waiting for the win7 release to launch them.

Netbooks may be too weak for Windows 7. Hence, most netbooks use XP cuz they're too weak to run Vista. Therefore, netbooks may never run 7. Just FYI.

Netbooks run Vista fine. They mainly stayed with XP because of the low storage space. Now that they come with huge hard drives, they could ship with Vista, but people are too comfortable with XP. The next generation of netbooks will run Windows 7, starting this fall.

BTW, I ran Vista and then 7 on my EEE 901. Both OS's ran fine.
