Hi everyone, I've been following some of the new information regarding the HP Envy refresh that happened recently, and am interested in buying a 17 3D model.

However, I live in the UK, which not only has the laptop yet, but also doesn't offer customisation and is much more expensive than it is in the USA.

As I've been following the 'Available Now - Updated HP Envy' thread, I've seen a few members comment that they would be using parcel forwarding. I've never used this before, but having done some research into it, it seems like a suitable option for me.

With the Envy being an expensive product, I was wondering if anyone on here would be able to give their advice/insight into my situation, as I'm a bit anxious with ordering something from the USA in the hands of a company I've never used. The main issue is receiving the product without it being damaged, as I have no issue with using an American laptop in the UK. Shipito is my primary choice at the moment, as they seem the most reliable (through emails, their websites and other user feedback). I'm also a bit stuck with ordering the laptop through HP but using the Shipito address. If anyone has any previous experience they can offer, I would really appreciate it.

Thank you for reading this and for any advice you can offer.

    Thanks for the replies everyone.

Really? If you could link me his seller ID/one of his items, that would be great.

Has anyone heard anything about when the 15" will come out in europe ( france).
I m getting a new computer a couple of weeks after xmas. But if this one comes out after jan I will be most likely tired of waiting and will just give up and go for the chronos.

I used Shipito and very pleased with their service to overseas. Couldn't order easily off HP as they need a phone number in the same area as Shipito address and a billing address likewise. No problem with Amazon, but limited to their configurations. I chose Amazon, less stress..

I didn't notice any savings to be made by using HP direct but ymmv. Good luck buying from them overseas.
