    Can I buy a stripped down laptop and upgrade later?

    This is what i am thinking of buying and will upgrade later on with a 2.16 core duo and 2gb of ram. Will the mother board in the laptop let me do this?

    You can upgrade memory which I am planning to do and also hard drive.
    But I am not sure whether you can upgrade CPU or not.

    The immediate upgrade would be the memory and by the time you feel the CPU is obsolete, the machine may not worth upgrading anyway.

    Tell me which memory you are going to buy.
