    hello all

just wanted to know if i get my cousin in the US to customize a notebook from HP, and then have it shipped to his house. From where he will ship to me in Canada, will the HP warrenty apply in canada? can i just take it to a service center locally or do i have to ship it back to the US?

The support will be in the US, meaning that they won't pay for shipping to a US service center.

It depends which HP laptop it is. The business line warranty is international. They'll repair your business notebook regardless of where it was purchased (there are exceptions but it certainly applies to Canada/US). Home/Home office is domestic only, I think.

Yes, sorry, my answer was specific to the consumer lines. Business laptops have international warranties.
