    Does nc8430 come with gloosy screen? If not, can it be configured to have glossy screen?

    Where is the best place to get nc8430 C2D T7200 in UK? Is there any shop in EU or US which will ship to UK?

    to be honest, having used glossy screens in office environments i must say it's no fun at all.

    i don't understand the recent obsession with glossy screens.. they might be a LITTLE deeper in the blacks, but seeing glares all the time is SO not worth it imo.

    I agree about glossy screens. I can't stand them. You have to look past the reflections all the time. With a matte screen, you see only the output of the computer, no reflection clutter.

    Hmm .. in very dim environments I tend to find glossy screens strain my eyes a bit less than matte ones. On the other hand, not having to deal with seeing the whole room behind you is a great relief at all other times. And the matte screen on the nc8430 is gorgeous.
