Let me start out I have never bought a laptop right before a new OS came out. Yes I know if a computer can run vista, w7 will be easy. So I have never paid attention to hardware updates.

So basically the point to this is, is now the time to buy a tx2z from HP? With w7 coming out in a few months, do you guys think HP will do a hardware update allowing me to get more bang for my buck/ better software intergration? Or do vendors like HP wait a while (several months) after major OS releases to update hardware/better intergrate drivers/support?

OEMs are usually on time with OS releases and updates. I do not think they will do a hardware refresh, but i couldnt be sure.
