I inserted a small CD into my HP Envy 14-1210NR and after pressing eject button it will not eject. A PC service told me it would cost me 100 labor to remove the CD. Do I have any other options. Another thing is I hardly use this laptop and I want to sell it. It is in mint condition.

You need to remove the top case (palmrest), then remove the DVD. Next thing is to open DVD and remove that small CD, then put everything back together. If you want to sell it, be careful not to scratch the plastics. Basic procedure is to remove all the screws from the bottom case, then remove the keyboard, disconnect any cables, remove the screws from under the keyboard. Top case can then be lifted in most cases, which gives you access to DVD.

No worries, just be very careful if you decide to get it fixed yourself. If you never had to take a laptop apart it's good practise to take a picture with your phone to see where all the cables are connected. And last important bit is screw lengths. Remember where you took the screw from so that you will put it back where it came from when re-assembling the laptop back. The screws on the bottom case require the most attention as if wrong screw is used you can damage the top case.
