Hi. I do not know much about notebooks and processors, so I would really appreaciate everyones help.
I just purchased HP pavilion zv5000z with amd 64 3000+ 1.8 GHz, I read that it has 1 MB L2 Cache, and its better then Mobile Pentium 4 2.4 GHz with 512 MB L2 Cache. Is it realy better or not, and does it realy has 1mb of L2 Cache? I read that higher the BUS, faster the computer, so now I really confused, since Pentium 4 has 533 Mhz, and AMD 64 only has 266 Mhz. So does it mean that Pentium 4 is faster? and over all which is a better choice? And if AMD 1.8 better then Pentium 2.4, by how much?

    Thank you

The AMD64 is the fastest current mobile processor, and the only drawback is that HP only combines it with a nVidia go 440 video card.
