I have a dv7t-2000 with a P7450 Intel processor. When I'm running cpu-heavy programs the processor will throttle back once it hits 80°C. However, my processor has a rated TJMax of 90°C. This is strange since the processor is throttling back a good 10°C under the thermal limit. Strangely this problem only started showing up about a week ago. Previously the cpu temperatures would max out around 85°C without any throttling. Only recently has this "low temperature" thottling begun. Any help would be appreciated.
