Hi I have compaq presario c500. I've had successfully upgrade from 1.6 celeron M 410 to T2080. I recently tried to upgrade another c500 with 1.6
    T2060 but will not boot.
    Done:
    1. Swap cpu and pc, CPU ok.
    2. Bios upgraded to latest F.24
    3. Reseat cmos battery and RAM

    What else am I missing?

Yes, mentioned on #1. Swap with the working upgraded laptop. Both cpu works on the old c500. The newer c500 doesn't recognized neither the T2060 nor T2080. Via CPU-Z, it's 99.9% identical.
