    CPUz shows link width x8 max supported x16

    Hi, I just checked CPUz and noticed that the link width for PCIe is at x8 yet shows max supported at x16. Is this right?

    I think you should add a little more information about your laptop, or all we can do is "guess" ;)

    Yeah, HP have x8 2.0 links in their most recent DV6/DV7 systems. It's the same bandwidth as their previous 1st gen i-cores that ran x16 1.0. Means less copper lines running between the dGPU and the chipset's root port (0:1.0).
