I just got my nc8430, and I'm wondering what configurations, drivers, etc. I should install for it.
*ATi Drivers - I know most GPU makers don't support their notebook counterparts, so I'm wondering, where and should I get a Catalyst update?
    Thanks a whole lot!

Personally, I'd use the drivers on the HP site. The regular CCC has one or two minor issues that really bothered me (screen res changes on standby/hibernate).

For HP drivers, just go to the business website.
For ATI drivers, go to the Gaming Forum and look up the sticky on how to update the drivers. Chaz posted a direct link to ATI's download.

Do the new ATi Drivers actually improve gaming performance (is it worth the hassle?). Thanks again
