If you play a game at a resolution that is below the native WSXGA+, how is the quality of the image? Can you tell it's not the native resolution of the screen when you game below WSXGA+?

I don't know about the 8510p, but on my dv9000t I can tell. The picture as a whole looks degraded, kinda...I don't wanna call it blurry, but it's distorted in a way. Definitely not as clear as it could be.

I use my sxga 8510w at 1200X800 for Red Orchestra.
Can I tell. Ya, the crispness of the resolution difference will let you tell. But its clear and fine.

I've played a few games at lower resolution and couldn't tell that much. They were old FPS RTS games that never supported widescreen. I found ways to hack a few to get the resolutions but the old size wasn't that bad. This may of course have been because they were old meh graphics games though :p
