    Poking around the internet looking for battery prices, I decided to see if there was a newer battery check tool than the one that came with Vista when I first got my HDX back in 2009, I actually did find one that was apparently put together sometime within the last month, if the Copyright date is to be believed (it reports 2011).

    It seems somewhat accurate, and I say somewhat because my battery is "supposed" to be an 8 cell, but only comes up as 4 (or maybe I was lied to :cool: )

    Very neat tool. I was able to have my parents get the battery serial number on their laptop without having them "disassemble" the battery.
