    The laptops with replaceable GPU's are very little.Please read the GPU Guide.Judging by this fact I think the answer is NO.

    The dv6000 series notebooks cannot upgrade their GPU. If you want a 15.4" gaming machine from HP, I'd suggest you check out the nc8430. Great machine!

    A lot of notebooks with discrete GPUs actually have highly customized motherboards designed for specific GPUs. And sometimes the GPUs will be soldered to the mobo. In any case, the ability to just pop in any aftermarket GPU is highly unlikely.

    Very few laptops have inter-changeable GPUs, and most of them are enthusiast/gaming machines.

    IMO those of you hoping to make a gaming machine out of an HP should look at other brands. Some of the upcoming Asus 15 inchers have a geforce 8600
