This is my 2 year old HP DV7 17" laptop. Its a good performer but it got torn from the corner for which I had to pay 1200 rs (around 23$). Now its again getting torn at the same location.

I dont want to pay money for this every now and then.
How can I fix this at home?
    Please give suggestions.
