Guys can i plug my 4.1 Channel speakers with hp dv5000t, in my desktop pc i used to plug 2 pins, but in the laptop i'v just one. is there a way?

You could try getting an adapter from Radioshack. Just tell them what you want to do and they'll give you the right adapter.

Yes, this is possible as the headphone out doubles as a SPDIF digital out, which you can hook up to a receiver or speaker system that accepts a digital signal. I have my laptop hooked up to a Logitech Z5500 5.1 speaker system via optical when I have it docked at home. You just need to purchase an additional cable.

You could also buy a soundcard from Soundblaster and plug in a 5.1 system.

Sorry about that, this is the type of cable you're looking for if you have a speaker system/receiver with optical inputs. Can't vouch for this seller, though I just googled it.
